The warmth of cooperation: Heating and cooling communities for the Balkans

Explore how heating and cooling communities can drive the green energy transition in the Balkans!

Join us on 15 May 2025 from 10:00 to 12:00 CEST for this inspiring webinar to discover how heating and cooling (H&C) communities can be a key driver for the energy transition in the Balkans.

Even though community energy is a proven and effective approach to foster green energy transition, unfortunately, its potential remains untapped in the heating and cooling sector. Join us for this inspiring webinar organised by the ConnectHeat project to discover how heating and cooling (H&C) communities can be a key driver for the energy transition in the Balkans

This session will explore how local stakeholders can come together to collectively plan, finance, and manage sustainable thermal energy communities tailored to their needs. You will not only learn more about the concept of H&C communities but also explore inspiring cases and projects as well as useful and proven tools for the seamless development of such communities. We will also discuss the potential of heating and cooling plans to boost the roll-out of thermal communities.

BALKAN FOCUS: This webinar is directed towards stakeholder from the Balkans. We specifically invite stakeholders from this region to join. Anyone else is free to join as well.
