District heating decarbonisation - Rotterdam's journey

These two webinars aim to facilitate knowledge-sharing and foster discussions around the crucial topic of strategies for heating & cooling networks.

Did you know that half of the cities selected to participate in the EU Mission for 100 climate-neutral and smart cities by 2030 already have a district heating and cooling network in place? And what about your city, does it have a heating and cooling strategy?

We are excited to invite you to the upcoming EHP Talks on Heating and Cooling Decarbonisation in Cities, presented in collaboration with the Covenant of Mayors.

Explore Rotterdam's experience with district heating, detailing the decarbonisation and upgrading process. Lydia Hameeteman will provide valuable insights into Rotterdam's goals, strategies for achieving them, heat planning, fossil-free neighbourhood approaches, and the lessons learned from these initiatives.

Join us for these webinars, where you can listen to success stories and ask your questions.

Moderator: Nicolas Raimondi, Policy and Project Manager, Energy Cities
