Value added services to support DHC utilities digitalisation pathway: Insights from the SWAN Forum

This exclusive online meeting is aimed at seeking inspiration for utilities’ digital transition from the Smart Water Network (SWAN) platform

The EHP Working Group on Digitalisation (DigiWG) is committed to bridging the gap between the demand and supply of digital solutions for district heating and cooling (DHC) systems. As part of its ongoing initiatives, the group is considering the development of a dedicated online portal and related value-added services to address the specific challenges faced by DHC utilities and to support their digital transformation. This portal, hosted on the EHP website, would serve as a central hub featuring data, tools, and valuable resources such as success stories and best practices.

In this exclusive members-only workshop, the Working Group will seek inspiration from the Smart Water Networks Forum (SWAN). Amir Cahn, CEO of the SWAN Forum, will be the guest speaker, providing insights into the platform’s origins, philosophy, development timeline, and key digital tools.

EHP and DHC+ members are invited to participate in this interactive session to draw inspiration from the water sector’s experience and discuss opportunities for DigiWG to focus its efforts on developing services and tools that can effectively support the digital transition in the DHC sector.

Agenda:

•              Opening Remarks – Matteo Pozzi, DHC+ Platform Chair, Leader of the Digitalisation Working Group

•              The SWAN Forum: Digitalising the water sector – Amir Cahn, CEO of the SWAN Forum

•              Q&A and Open Discussion – All members invited to exchange ideas and perspectives
