Crash course for cities 2026

Join us for the third edition of the Crash Course for Cities, a one-day training programme designed exclusively for local authorities, city representatives and municipally owned companies. The course focuses on how cities can plan, modernise and finance the transition to climate-neutral district heating and cooling systems. The programme will be delivered in English with Polish translation available throughout the day.
Through case studies, interactive sessions and peer exchange, participants will explore local heat planning, fossil phase-out strategies, network modernisation and financing pathways. The Crash Course provides a practical space for cities to strengthen their capacity, connect with peers and accelerate the implementation of resilient and affordable district energy systems.
The agenda also includes a networking dinner to connect with peers and industry leaders. Participants eligible for the “local authority” ticket will receive complimentary access to the EHP Congress.
If you'd like to attend the EHP Congress and the CCC, follow these steps:
- Visit our website and register
- Select the EU / National / Local Representatives / NGO ticket
- Indicate your interest in attending the CCC in the relevant custom question

Each Crash Course registration will be manually verified. Please register using your work email address.
We look forward to welcoming you in Krakow for a learning experience designed with cities, for cities!
