They deliver heat and hot water to more than 3 million residents:

To whom it may concern,
Kyivteploenergo as a member of "Euroheat & Power", together with the Intersectoral Association of District Heating Companies of Ukraine "Ukrteplokomunenergo" address you with an urgent request to assist in the organization of humanitarian and technical aid, that will ensure uninterrupted work of emergency crews of heat supply companies in settlements located in the zone of hostilities.
The most complicated situation is in the next cities:
Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Irpin, Bucha, Bila Tserkva, Borodyanka, Chernihiv, Kramatorsk, Brovary, Vyshgorod, Boryspil, Korosten, Zaporizhia, Berdyansk, Izum, Chuguiv, Lubny, Myrhorod, Okhtyrka, Mariupol, Melitopol, Kherson, Kakhovka, Nova Kakhovka.
Despite the difficult working conditions, emergency crews are working there in an intensive mode 24/7 and providing heating and hot water to residents of these cities.
We ask you to support us in this tough period and if possible, to provide assistance with materials and tools, the full list of which can be found below this letter.

Protective equipment for workers and emergency crews:
Body armor and helmets, mats, sleeping bags, backpacks
First-Aid medical kits
Technological equipment to support work:
- Electric and generators (stationary, mobile)
- Heaters of various types
- Polyethylene film of at least 90 microns for closing glass windows (window openings) during shelling and to prevent freezing of technological premises
- Latches of various types (diam. 50-200) for shutdown of the houses which have suffered as a result of bombing
- Means for autonomous communication and base stations for them with a range of up to 20 km
- Rechargeable lanterns
- Cranks
- Cordless angle grinders
- Extinguishers
- Power banks
