REWARDHeat study tour and project meeting in Marseille

The overall objective of the REWARDHeat project is to demonstrate a new generation of low-temperature district heating and cooling networks that will be able to recover renewable and waste heat, available at low temperature. These networks will be able to increase production and distribution efficiency by recovering, renewable and waste heat available at low temperature.
This time, partners attended an exciting study tour to La Seyne sur Mer, Toulon, where the French demonstrator operated by Dalkia and EDF is located. It consists of a DHC network harvesting energy from the sea that is constantly available.
On the second day of the meeting, partners discussed important topics to ensure the successful continuation of the project, such as the progress, key results so far as well as next steps.
