Training Schedule:

  • 6th of April 10:00-13:00 CET: Hospital (Madrid)
  • 26th of April 10:00-13:00 CET: Dashboard (Nice/La Seyne Sur Mer)
  • 4th of May 10:00-13:00 CET: Metro (Berlin)

24th of May 10:00-13:00 CET: Datacenter (Braunschweig)

  • The fourth and last live training on urban waste heat recovery offered by ReUseHeat will be held online on Tuesday 24 May. The training session is focusing on the key learnings from the ReUseHeat demonstrator at Braunschweig, Germany where the waste heat from a datacenter will be used in the local district heating network. The training includes a virtual tour to the demo site and a hands-on session where participants will propose solutions to address the implementation challenges.

Training Programme

The trainings consist of three parts each with an approximate duration of 45 minutes followed by a 15 minutes break.

Part 1: Introduction

Presentations about the potential of urban waste heat sources and business models for waste heat recovery with a focus on the demo case and on the waste heat source. - Steffen Nielsen, Aalborg University and Kristina Lygnerud, IVL, ReUseHeat Project Coordinator

Part 2: Problem Solving Workshop

This part will focus on the problems that have occurred on the sites. The participants will be divided into groups, where they will try to come up with solutions for the problems identified. 

Part 3: Virtual Tour and Q&A

Screening of a video from the demo site and discussion with the participants.
