EU to invest more than €116 million in LIFE Strategic Projects
The European Commission announced that more than €116 million would be invested in the LIFE Programme's new Strategic Projects. The funding will help eight significant projects in seven Member States reach their climate and environmental targets. The projects will help Europe become the world's first climate-neutral continent by 2050 and successfully implement the European Green Deal.
Apply to pitch your EU-funded R&I project results in energy, transport and Euratom to business investors!
On Tuesday, 23 May afternoon, the European Commission, in cooperation with Business Angels Europe, is organising a pitching event where companies from the energy, transport, mobility and Euratom sectors can present mature and exploitable results from their EU projects to a panel of business investors. During this event, several companies can pitch their Key Exploitable Results to a panel of investors.

Commission welcomes the commitment by Finland and Luxembourg Renewable Energy Financing Mechanism
The implementation of the EU renewable energy financing mechanism took a significant step forward today with the binding commitment of Finland and Luxembourg to participate in a cross-border tender for renewable energy. The active role of Luxembourg and Finland in the implementation of this new instrument is strongly supported by the European Commission.
Evaluation of the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF)
The European Commission just opened a public consultation on the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RFF). This evaluation will assess its implementation at the halfway point. In particular, it will examine the effectiveness, efficiency, coherence and relevance of it progress in achieving the RRF Regulation’s objectives and to what extent it has created EU added value.
