DHC+ Assembly at SDEWES

During the meeting, Aksana Krasatsenka provided updates from the Euroheat & Power Strategic Board meeting and introduced two new DHC+ team members: Martin Stroleny and Laura Junasová.
As a new DHC+ member, Enerhack presented its ongoing and planned activities, as well as an upcoming online course on the Design of District Heating / District Cooling pipelines on 16-17 January 2023. More information is available here.
Gabriele Pesce presented primary outcomes of EU-funded projects as well as relevant Horizon Europe calls. An Info Day and a Matchmaking event will be organised for DHC+ members in the coming weeks.
DHC+ members were informed about the progress in the DHC+ Working Groups: Digitalisation and Finance. They were also invited to join the new EHP working Group on Renewables and Waste Heat (RWH WG).
Moreover, HAWK University and the DHC+ secretariat presented a report from the successful DHC+ Summer School 2022 and the TalTech candidacy for hosting the next edition of the summer school in August 2023 in Tallinn (Estonia) was approved.
An invitation to join the D2Grids 5GDHC Industrial Alliance was extended to all interested DHC+ members. The deadline of this call is December 1st. Find more information and the form here.
Finally, members had a chance to hear short updates about the Low-Temperature DHC Observatory which currently gathers data on 200 low-temperature networks and will soon be integrated in the DHC Knowledge Hub.
