DHC+ Assembly

Summary of the DHC+ Assembly held on 16 March 2023 online

During the meeting, Aksana Krasatsenka and Gabriele Pesce provided updates from the DHC+ Strategic meeting. They presented the DHC+ Work programme 2023, the member situation, the budget and upcoming events.

Members are invited to participate in the next DHC+ Assembly in Torino – 22 May 2023. Please register here for the free site visits to the “San Salvario” Heat Storage System in Torino.

New DHC+ members, TEGnology and Daikin Europe, presented their activities and reasons for joining DHC+.  

Gabriele Pesce and Martin Stroleny then presented the matchmaking results and upcoming calls. The matchmaking process on early 2023 calls resulted in 22 members involved in matchmaking activities, 6 consortia created, and 15 members involved in proposals.

DHC+ members were informed about the progress in the DHC+ Working Groups: Digitalisation and Finance. A report on Digitalisation is currently being written by the Task Force and will be launched at the EHP Congress in Torino.

On the Education & Training side, the 11th edition of the DHC+ Student Awards has been launched (with the deadline to apply on 26 May 2023). More information can be found here: https://www.euroheat.org/resource/11th-international-dhc-student-awards.html

For its 11th edition, the DHC+ Summer School is going to the 2023 Green Capital: Tallinn (20 – 25 August). DHC+ team is currently working on the logistics with the local partners and making final preparations. Members were also informed about the outcome of the Erasmus+ proposal on “DHC Academy” and encouraged to re-submit the project.

Finally, members discussed the upcoming DHC+ Assembly in Torino and ideas for the next meetings. A survey was prepared to collect ideas on topics members would like to discuss. Please fill it in by 14 April: https://forms.gle/cCTYrVYhVtWaKo9S7
