Global District Energy Climate Awards celebrate world's leading sustainable district energy solutions 

We believe it is now more important than ever to recognise the excellence and resilience of District Energy systems worldwide. It is time to award energy efficiency, innovation and best-in-class examples of sustainable district heating & cooling solutions. This is the spirit behind the Global District Energy Climate Awards. Over the past 14 years and 7 editions, GDECA has established itself as a leading international initiative to shed light on the best of district energy projects, systems and communities. 

This year will make no exception, and we are thrilled to invite you to apply for the 2023 edition of our Global District Energy Climate Awards! 

Have you contributed to or developed a state-of-the-art district heating & cooling system? You might be our next Laureate! 
Judged by a panel of highly respected professionals, these awards will provide a benchmark of success, bringing visibility, peer acknowledgement and plenty of other benefits to nominees and winners alike!  
With six categories to choose from, including new schemes, modernisation and/or expansion, sector coupling, emerging market, district energy in developing countries and 'out-of-the-box', there is something for everyone.
