Scottish Development International (SDI) in collaboration with the Netherlands British Chamber of Commerce and PwC would like to invite you to their NBCC Clean Energy Business Opportunities in Scotland event in The Hague on 30th June.
The event will focus on the themes of green hydrogen, in particular the business opportunities that exist in the hydrogen production space, AND low-carbon (district) heating, specifically the opportunities that will arise from the planned large-scale development and roll-out of zero emissions heat networks across Scotland.
The afternoon will start with an introductory speech by Ivan McKee, Scottish Minister for Business, Trade, Tourism and Enterprise, will feature contributions by SDI and PwC, the Dutch company LH2 Europe on the green liquid hydrogen export supply chain, and our specialists on low carbon heat market opportunities and finally provide an opportunity for networking/one-to-one meetings whilst sampling Scotland’s world-famous whisky.
Scotland has ambitious climate change targets (net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2045, 75% emissions reductions by 2030), a strong renewables track record and a favourable statutory framework (e.g. £300m Scottish Government Heat Network Fund), thus providing a unique environment for any business operating in the cleantech/renewable energy space.
