The online registration is open until 5 August 2022 (or until fully booked). The 30 places available will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that we can only accept 4 registrations per organisation in the initial registration round. In case this rule results in less than 30 participants, the open spots will be filled on an first-come, first-served basis respecting proportionality. Should there be less than the minimum number of applications (20), participants will either be reimbursed or offered an opportunity to participate in another edition or programme.
Registration fees depend on the participant's status (Student (must provide a copy of a valid student ID) or Professional) and on the organisation's status (Member / Non Member). DHC+ c/o Euroheat & Power will check all student IDs submitted upon registration. Should an ID be invalid at the time of the Summer School, the participant's category will be adjusted to reflect the accurate pricing and category. No refunds will be provided to participants who fail to provide a valid student ID and withdraw registration as a result or to those who register in an incorrect category.
The participation fee covers the tuition fee, educational materials, lunches, coffee breaks, transportation to sites and networking dinners. Travel costs and other related expenses are neither included nor reimbursable. All fees are in Euro (€).
Please note: Early Bird tickets ended on 25 June 2022 and are no longer be applicable!
Upon completion of the online registration, participants will receive an email with the confirmation and the payment status. The confirmation will be sent to the e-mail address provided on the registration form. Participants are advised to not proceed with any travel or accommodation arrangements until payment has been received and attendance has been confirmed.
Participants who need an invoice for the fees paid can request it to the organizer who will share it upon reception of the amount due. The online registration and payment must be completed prior to contacting the organiser to request an invoice. Invoices will be issued using the billing details provided on the registration form; participants are therefore, asked to provide the correct information (company name, address and VAT number if applicable).
Participants who seek to pay via bank transfer should contact the organizer including their billing details and they will receive a digital (PDF) version of the invoice.
Payment must be received no later than 15 days after the final approval of the registration. If payment is not received within the 15 days, the registration will be refused. All prices indicated are in Euro (€). All payments must be made in Euro (€); no other currency is accepted. Payment should preferably be made using a credit card (MasterCard or Visa) during the online registration process, but bank transfer is also accepted.
The online registration platform is a secure site. VISA, MasterCard, and Amex are the only cards accepted. Please enter all relevant information on the registration form. It is mandatory to clearly mention the card holder’s name if it differs from the participant's name.
Payment by bank transfer
Bank fees are the sole responsibility of the participant and should be paid in addition to the registration fees. Transfers must clearly state the name of the event and name of the participant, as unidentified bank transfers cannot be processed. If payment is made for more than one person or by a company, please make sure all names are indicated.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
Cancellations must be communicated to DHC+ c/o Euroheat & Power by e-mail to [email protected]. All cancellations will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee until 1 July 2022. After that date, no refunds or exceptions will be made. All refunds will be processed after the event.
Invitation letter for visa application:
Participants who require a visa can request an invitation letter from DHC+. Attendees must have registered and paid the required registration fees before requesting an official letter of invitation. All requests should be sent by e-mail to [email protected]. Please note that the organisers will not be able to contact or intervene with any Embassy or Consulate on behalf of a participant.
The registration does not include insurance of any kind. DHC+ c/o Euroheat & Power or hosting entities cannot accept any responsibility or liability for injuries or losses sustained as a result of any cancellations, accidents, illness or other occurrences that may arise in connection with the Summer School or its technical visits and evening events. Participants are advised to organise appropriate travel and health insurance themselves.
The personal information participants provide will be held in a database managed by DHC+ c/o Euroheat & Power. We may occasionally use the details strictly in connection to DHC+/Euroheat & Power events. To opt out of receiving such information, please tick the relevant “opt-out” box when receiving undesired emails.
DHC+ c/o Euroheat & Power reserves the right to use pictures and videos (or screenshots and screen recordings in case of an online edition) of the participants & speakers taken during the Summer School. Nevertheless, participants who do not wish their image/voice to be recorded and published, for compelling and legitimate reasons relating to a particular situation, may contact [email protected] and the organiser will accommodate the participant’s needs, if possible.
Participant's names, pictures and organisation details will automatically be displayed as attendee on the Summer School website and be printed on the list of participants. Participants who do not wish their name to be published, please contact [email protected] and the organiser will accommodate the participant’s needs, if possible.
The organiser - DHC+ c/o Euroheat & Power, and hosting entities and sponsors - HAWK University, AGFW, Fraunhofer IEE, E.ON and Stadtwerke Göttingen cannot be held responsible for any loss, injury or damage to any property, whatever the cause may be. Liability of persons and enterprises providing means of transportation or other services, however, remains unaffected. Should the venue or lecturers change or the event be cancelled, for any reason outside the organisers’ control (including but not limited to acts of terrorism, extreme weather conditions and/or industrial action), the organiser will endeavour to re-schedule, but shall not be held responsible for any costs, damages or expenses incurred by the registrants.
Should the organiser decide to make material changes to this event, the organiser is not responsible for airfares, hotels or other costs incurred by registrants. The participant takes part in the Summer School, all site visits and evening activities at his / her own risk. Furthermore, the organiser may not be held liable for any costs or damages incurred resulting from acts outside of its control including but not limited to force majeure, strikes and/or public demonstration. Only written arrangements are binding.
Registration of a participant entails acceptance of these conditions
Should any disputes arise from the execution or interpretation of the present Terms and Conditions, both parties will be subject to Belgian law and the commercial courts of Brussels will be competent, without prejudice to DHC+ c/o Euroheat & Power’s right to initiate legal proceedings before the courts of the participant’s registered office in the event that any sums are due by the participant.
