Creating a Sustainable Ecosystem in District Heating and Cooling, using Artificial Intelligence
The 8th edition of the International DHC+ Summer School was to take place in Karlshamn, Sweden at the end of August. However, due to the current COVID-19 situation and the uncertainty surrounding international travel, we have decided to change the format and organise the 1st ever ONLINE summer school on DHC!
We are delighted to confirm that registrations for this year’s event are now open, don’t miss out!
We have re-designed the programme, which will now include online lectures with live interaction, group work monitored by industry experts, and plenty of virtual networking moments. For obvious reasons, the online summer school will not include technical site visits.
More than a usual DHC+ Summer School!
You will receive access to a highly professional online learning platform, with the opportunity to review the content of the Summer School for one month after the event. ALL of your questions will be answered by the lecturers and presenters: be it live or via the chat function. Join us to participate in an unforgettable virtual networking experience full of surprises!!
The target group for the DHC+ Summer School are students, PhDs and young professionals from all over Europe, interested in sustainability and our future societies. Participants should have some knowledge and great interest in the subject of district heating and cooling, but no more than 2 years of professional experience in the field. The summer school is held entirely in English.
Registration and more information
The online registration is open until 31 July 2020 (or until fully booked). The 30 places available will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis (with the priority given to pre-registered participants).
Registration fees depend on the participant’s status (Student – must provide a copy of a valid student ID / Professional) and on the organisation status (Member / Non-Member).
The participation fee covers the tuition fee, access to an online learning platform and educational materials. All fees are in Euro (€).
