Paul Voss

Montgomery Oliver Europe sprl acting as
Managing Director
Paul Voss joined Euroheat & Power at the beginning of November 2013 from Danfoss District Energy, a global leader in energy efficient technology and solutions.
He has an in-depth understanding of EU policy and first-hand experience in managing cooperation between the private and public sectors in pursuit of shared goals.
Paul’s primary responsibilities involve the general management of the association and its staff, leadership in the conception and implementation of the association’s strategy and policy agenda, development and maintenance of Euroheat & Power’s relations with key stakeholders (EU policy-makers, international institutions, representative organisations in the energy sector) as well as representing the association and the wider district energy sector.

Eloi Piel

Head of Policy & European Affairs
Eloi joined Euroheat & Power in 2002 and since January 2014 he supervises the policy unit. Eloi has over 10 years experience in energy policy and lobbying in Brussels. Prior to joining Euroheat & Power, he worked for the European Commission and Gaz de France in Central Europe.
Within Euroheat & Power, Eloi is in charge of regulatory and legislative affairs and the policy unit.

Pauline Lucas
Policy Officer
Pauline joined Euroheat & Power in January, 2019. Over the past five years she has gained valuable experience working in a Brussels-based public affairs agency, specialising in EU energy and environmental policies.
Prior to this role, she was a bluebook trainee at the European Commission. Pauline has a background in European law and public affairs. She has lived and studied in France, Germany, Poland and the Netherlands.

Giulia Forgnone
Policy Officer
Giulia joined Euroheat & Power in September, 2019. Prior to joining our team, she worked as a senior consultant, providing strategic advocacy and communications advice on key energy and environmental policies, particularly related to the EU energy transition, sustainability and the circular economy.
She has a range of previous industry experience in the climate and energy fields, including positions in the European Parliament, Friends of Europe and the European Climate Foundation.

Kale Symons

Communications & Social Media Officer
Kale joined Euroheat & Power in January, 2019. He concluded his Communication and Information Technology studies in Australia and has spent the last decade optimising his marketing, design and programming skills.
Within EHP, Kale publishes relevant content across our different communication channels and manages our expanding digital network.

Alessandro Provaggi

Head of the DHC+ Technology Platform
Alessandro Provaggi leads the DHC+ Technology Platform at Euroheat & Power since March 2015. Alessandro’s main duties involve the general and strategic management of the DHC+ activities and its team. He is responsible for developing and coordinating DHC+ members’ relations and continuous engagement. In relation to EU projects, he plans and monitors tasks and supports the daily work of the rest of team. He represents DHC+ towards key stakeholders, provides strategy and content in external communications and supervises the research policy agenda.
Passionate about getting to a 100% sustainable energy model as soon as possible, Alessandro has more than 10 years of experience in EU policy, project management and communications, mostly in energy. Before joining Euroheat & Power, he worked for EUREC as the Coordinator of the European Technology Platform on Renewable Heating and Cooling, and previously for the European Commission (EuropeAid) and the European Parliament. He is a former Visiting Scholar at Stanford University and he studied at Bologna University, Madrid Complutense, Solvay Brussels School and Boston University.

Aksana Krasatsenka

Project & Communication Officer
Aksana joined Euroheat & Power in February 2013, and since January 2014 she is a dedicated member of the DHC+ team.
Aksana is involved in a number of EU funded projects leading communication and dissemination activities (ReUseHeat), social media strategy (RES-DHC), and European replication actions (Upgrade DH). On the communication side, she is responsible for the organisation of DHC+ related events, management of the Knowledge Hub, promotion of district energy research & innovation through publications and social media activities. In addition, she coordinates the work of the Education & Training working group and supports the organisation of the DHC+ Summer School and DHC+ Student Awards.
After graduation in European law and politics from the Universities of Bordeaux (FR) and Minsk (BY), Aksana completed an internship in legal and public affairs within an international law firm and another Brussels based association.

Sofia Lettenbichler
Policy & Projects Manager – Sustainable Cities
Sofia Lettenbichler joined EHP and DHC+ as Projects Officer in October 2016 and in November 2018 she was promoted to Policy and Projects Manager – Sustainable Cities. She coordinates work on sustainable cities, representing the Celsius city network in Brussels, and leads the advocacy work on research policy. She also represents DHC+ in various SET Plan implementation working groups. Additionally, she manages DHC+’s contribution to the RHC-ETIP, where DHC+ functions as the secretariat for the horizontal working group 100% RE Districts and the technology panel for DHC and thermal storage.
Sofia studied her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science at Innsbruck University and Sciences Po Lyon. At the University of Leiden, she completed a Research Master in Political Science and Public Administration. She also holds a Diploma (BA+MA) in English and American Studies.
Her previous experience includes advocacy and policy work in digital technology, as well as the energy & environment sectors. She has worked on EU-funded projects in the fields of ICT, energy, environment and international cooperation.

Gabriele Pesce
Projects & Sustainable Finance Manager
Gabriele joined Euroheat & Power on 1 June 2018 and in December 2020 he was promoted to Projects & Sustainable Finance Manager. He holds a Master’s degree in international relations and a postgraduate degree in diplomatic studies. He is specialised in project management with vast experience in the preparation, design and management of EU projects and tenders within different financing programmes.
At EHP, Gabriele supports the policy team in the analysis of European legislation and mechanisms in the fields of sustainable and infrastructure finance relevant to district heating and cooling. He also coordinates and supports the DHC+ team and the Euroheat accountant in managing financial aspects, related to EU projects and advises the Head of DHC+ and the Euroheat Managing Director on EU project general management and in the planning and management of resources. Additionally, he manages the contribution of DHC+ to the TEMPO and COOL DH projects funded by H2020, mainly in the area of communication.

Jack Corscadden
Project Assistant
Jack joined Euroheat & Power as a member of the DHC+ team in September, 2019. After completing a Bachelor’s degree in Functional Biology at Trinity College Dublin and an MSc in Environmental Sustainability at the University of Edinburgh, he has developed a strong understanding of environmental issues and sustainable development.
Prior to joining our team, Jack gained valuable experience working with REN21, the renewable energy policy network, as part of the Renewables Global Status Report team.

Silke Schlinnertz

Head of Growth
Silke was appointed to the role of Head of Growth in January 2020, having previously occupied the position of Head of Operations (2014-2019) Communications and Events Manager (2011-2013) at Euroheat & Power.
Silke is in charge of the oversight and management of the Euroheat & Power marketing, events organisation and relations with Euroheat & Power members and partners.
Silke joined Euroheat & Power in March 2011 from Colloquium Brussels, an international Events agency. Silke possesses more than 10 years of experience in strategic marketing and event organisation.

Pauline Benoit

Marketing & Events Officer
Pauline completed her Bachelor of Business Administration at Neoma Business School and a Master in International Management at Toulouse Business School. During her studies she held internships and positions around the world (Spain, France, China, Luxembourg…).
She supports the team in a range of activities focusing on marketing and events projects.

Crélida Mata
Office Assistant
Crélida joined Euroheat in December 2017. After completing her degree in Political Science at Birkbeck University of London, she has worked in various international companies, most notably in the insurance and transport sectors. At Euroheat & Power, she is in charge of general day-to-day office matters and administration (members and suppliers liaison), database management in addition to providing support to the managing director and the entire team.
