Standardisation expert
- ASI Hot & Cold water, pre-insulated piping systems, heating systems, insulation materials, economic energy use in buildings
- CEN TC 107 for pre-insulated piping systems, TC 371 Energy performance of buildings, TC 088 Technical Insulation, TC 228 Performance criteria for heating systems
EU Horizon 2020 Projects:
Contribution as an expert DHC to several EU Projects, like H-DisNet, Tempo, CoolHeating and Heatflex.
IEA DHC
Expert at IEA DHC for low temperature district heating systems
- IEA TS2 for low temperature district heating systems for heating and hot water
- IEA DHC TS6 Lifetime of district heating systems - participation as expert for low temperature district heating systems
- Representative of Austroflex in Euroheat & Power / Brussels
Motivation
To show how sustainable and energy efficient solutions for district heating and cooling distribution networks, as well as for heating and cooling pipes in Industry and Buildings can significantly contribute to our climate protection goals
My believe:
Local Energy communities will speed up the decarbonisation of heating, cooling and electric power supply with a strong bottom-up approach. Sector coupling with district heating & cooling is the key to achieve EU “Fit for 55” targets.
