Euroheat
& Power Conference 2008, 'Heating Without Global Warming: Low
carbon buildings with DHC', took place on 5 June at Crowne Plaza

- Euroheat
& Power has orgaised RTD Convention: "Towards a European
Technology Platform for DHC", 26 and 27 February 2008
in Brussels.
The event focused on the development of the framework necessary to
bring up and establish a common research effort at European level
for the district heating and cooling sector. Furthermore new developments
regarding district cooling technology, innovative solutions in district
heating as well as new and efficient district heating supply options
were presented and discussed.
The
Research Convention was followed by Workshop facilitating discussions
regarding the development of the Technology Platform for DHC.

Industry and Utility Forum: Innovation - CHP and DHC for 2020,
8-9 November 2007
Convention Hotel Golf, Bled, Slovenia
This year's focus was innovation in combined heat &
power and district heating & cooling, including DHC market
developments, technologies in heat recovery and development of
district cooling products. The Forum is co-ordinated by Slovenian
District Energy Association. Programme, presentations

- Euroheat
& Power in co-ordination with the office of Mr. Claude Turmes MEP
has organised a roundtable discussion on 'A European Research Agenda
for District Heating and Cooling'. The roundtable took place at
the European Parliament on 16 April 2007. It included a broad
contribution from the European Commission and representation from
the European Parliament in addition to national policy experts from
Euroheat & Power's Member Associations. Follow links to programme

Euroheat
& Power District Cooling Workshop took place in Amsterdam on
Friday, 23 March 2007 at Mercure Amsterdam Airport Hotel. The
Workshop included study visit to NUON district cooling
facilities. The title of the Workshop was 'District Cooling: Keys

Euroheat & Power Utility and Industry Forum, District Heating
& Cooling: Rehabilitation and Risk Management, took place
on 9 and 10 November 2006 at Best Western Naujasis Hotel, Vilnius,
Lithuania. The Forum was organised in conjunction with Lithuanian
District Heating Association and with support from Vilniaus
energijos (Dalkia group) Lithuania. Presentations

& Power Annual Conference took place in Brussels on
22 June 2006 at Crowne Plaza Europa Hotel Brussels.This year
our main focus was competitiveness and use of renewables in our

Euroheat & Power Marketing Seminar 'In Partnership with
our Customers:
Successful Strategies for Marketing of District Heating and Cooling',
took place on 2- 3 March 2006 at Le Méridien
Etoile, Paris.
It included over twenty specialist speakers reflecting on issues
facing marketing and successful promotion of DHC. Marketing Seminar
was the key event of 2006 for meeting-up and discussing current
issues for all working on marketing, promoting and communicating
district heating & cooling (DHC) services. Seminar Programme

Research and Technological Development Workshop: 'High Efficiency
- Improved Building Installations and Customer Comfort' has
taken place in Brussels on 2 and 3 February 2006.
The focus of the Workshop were customer installations and substation
issues. Topics covered will include: building's heating systems,
domestic hot water systems and functions in the substations.Workshop
