the interests of the sector at the political level, in particular in relations to the European institutions and other international organisations. Euroheat & Power follows all the European policies of relevance for CHP/DHC, such as energy, environment, competition and research policy.We promote the use of combined heat and power, surplus heat and renewable energies.

Euroheat & Power on the forthcoming Commission report on the Emission-trading Scheme (ETS) and set aside of allowances

The main concern for Euroheat & Power is the impact of such a decision on the European heating market and on district heating in particular that is using resources in the most efficient way – 85% of district heat is produced using waste heat from various processes (e.g. combined heat and power) and renewable sources.
