Dear Mr. Szymczak,
We would like to express our sincerest condolences on the recent tragic events affecting your country to you and all colleagues in Poland. Our fellow board members, together with colleagues in Brussels, Italy and Denmark also send their thoughts and prayers for your country at this difficult time.
The death of your president Lech Kaczynski, his wife, as well as an array of important figures has left a gaping hole in Polish public life. The deep sadness being felt in Poland is shared by all of us who hold the Polish people in high regard and with great affection.
