09-03-2010 Summer School with focus on District Heating and Cooling
Enhance your engineering knowledge by participating in a Summer School with focuses on District Heating and Cooling, including: the technology and the main components, kinds of heat production, smart production and consumption, and the great environmental advantages in using DHC.
Do you know somebody, who might be interested in how to reduce energy use and carbon emissions and the smart use of District Heating and Cooling? Those interested in enhancing their knowledge can do so by participating in a Summer School with focuses on District Heating and Cooling.
Danish Summer School for Engineers with focus on District Heating and Cooling
Do you know somebody, who might be interested in how to reduce energy use and carbon emissions and the smart use of District Heating and Cooling? Those interested in enhancing their knowledge can do so by participating in a Summer School with focuses on District Heating and Cooling.
The purpose of the Summer School is to enable students to apply their general engineering competences to DHC issues, and to gain knowledge into the technology and the main components, different kinds of heat production, smart production and consumption, and the great environmental advantages in using DHC.
Offering insight to district energy and technology is one of the activities of the new Danish Development Centre for District Heating and Cooling, which was founded last September. The centre will initiate and facilitate new R&D and demonstration projects in order to further strengthen the position of DHC. Members of the centre are DHC-companies, equipment manufacturers and consultancies, technical institutions and associations like Danish District Heating Association. So far there are 58 members in FjvU, which is the abbreviation for 'Fjernvarmens Udviklingscenter' (www.fjvu.dk ).
The Summer School is offered in close cooperation with the Engineering College of Aarhus, Denmark and is planned from 8 to 20 August 2010 at "Fuglsoecentret", Denmark. For more information and to register please follow this link: http://www.iha.dk/Summer-School-District-Energy-2010-9494.aspx.
