The DHC+Technology Platform provides a European level framework aimed at stimulating research and innovation for district heating and cooling.
Stakeholders throughout Europe come together in the platform to draw up a Vision for the sector, to identify strategic research priorities and ensure the fulfilment of the sector’s research needs by means of project implementation.
DHC+ Technology Platform’s overall objective is to enhance district heating and cooling's potential to expand, to achieve progressive transformation of networks and to realize new synergies with kindred technologies. District heating and cooling will increasingly support Europe in its movement towards an energy efficient, renewable, competitive and customer friendly energy future.

Energy Technology Data Exchange (ETDE) WEB is the world energy data base and contains information about on the environmental impact of energy production and use, including climate change; energy R&D; energy policy; nuclear, coal, hydrocarbon and renewable energy technologies etc.

International Energy Agency has with its member countries an Agreement on District Heating & Cooling including the integration of CHP. The Agreement consists of different co-funded projects. IEuroheat & Power has the status of observer in this IEA Implementing Agreement.
