Euroheat & Power Certification Guidelines for District Heating Pipes
Certification in accordance with these guidelines enables an increased product quality level, sound competition and more reliable and easier procurement in a cost efficient way by avoiding multiple testing and inspections in production of preinsulated district heating pipes.
The focus of the Guidelines is standardized products: the straight preinsulated pipes (EN 253 and EN 15698-1) and fitting assemblies (EN 448) both single and twin pipe system, with or without surveillance system EN 14419.
These guidelines were approved by the Board of Euroheat & Power and are endorsed by National Association Members.
All producers are encouraged to apply the certificaton procedure according to these guidelines, and district heating companies are encouraged to buy and use only certified products.
